Senior Sarah Pearson will compete in the TSSAA Spring Fling for the fourth consecutive year. She finished in fourth place at the sectional event in the 300 meter hurdles  with a time of 50:22 seconds. Pearson has competed in the state pentathlon during her freshmen, sophomore and junior years. She has continued her quest for a state title this year despite tearing her ACL prior to basketball season. The competition will be held May 24, at MTSU.
