This year  CCCHS acquired many new teachers, but none as enthusiastic as Parker Gunn. Along with serving as the assistant baseball coach, Mr. Gunn is eager to teach Algebra II. Coach Gunn describes the atmosphere at Coffee County as being nostalgic and home-like. Originally, with plans of being an accountant, Coach Gunn graduated MTSU with a new-found passion for teaching and athletics. One interesting fact about Coach Gunn is that he is an avid disk golfer. Coach Gunn works hard to influence his students to become independent adults. He feels the importance of engaging students in a real world type of learning through math. Coach Gunn hopes to continue this school year with high energy in the classroom. The baseball team and the math department will benefit from Coach Gunn’s expertise.
