A local church brings Christmas joy and sentiment early this December through the production of its annual play.

First Baptist Church, located at 1006 Hillsboro Blvd, Manchester, Tennessee, prepares for a weekend of productions as show dates come into view. This Friday through Sunday (December 1,2,3) at 6:00 p.m. nightly Way Station will be available to audiences.

Way Station is the story of Mitch Schuster who has always wanted to travel on Christmas, but looking back on his life, he seems to only see the failure in his attempts. Through flashbacks audiences will follow Mitch’s Christmas experiences centering around meeting and falling in love with his wife Rita.

With no admission fee or need to worry about age range appropriate viewing, this makes for a great experience for all ages. By bringing loved ones close together through heartfelt moments, audiences are sure to leave with a sense of nostalgia and a Christmas spirit.

Not only will viewers enjoy the numerous songs by the choir, and narrations by the actors, the dance by the youth will bring laughter and a smile to all who attend.
