The Manchester Public Library is hosting their first annual Enthusiastic Nerd Convention on March 28.

The convention welcomes all people who enjoy “nerd things” such as video games and comics. Adults and teens are welcome.

The convention begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.. Organizers plan to have a costume contest with sign ups beginning at 12:30. Local authors, local vendors, Jeremiah Center Martial Arts, and Teen Actors Guild are attending. The Jeremiah Center will have a weapons demonstration for interested fanatics. Teen Actors Guild also will perform an improv show.

There will also be an art gallery, photo prop area, and a costume contest for cosplayers. Attendees do not have to wear costumes. Crafts and scavenger hunts are available throughout the event.

All cosplayers and other fans are encouraged to attend the convention at the Manchester Public Library on March 28.
