First Basketball Pep Rally Brings Excitement
January 10, 2018
On Tuesday, January 9, 2017, the first pep rally for basketball season was held to get students excited for the game with Tullahoma. Spirit grew as the band played, and the cheerleaders lead the crowd. Performing to perfection, the dance team showed their skills, and the cheerleaders executed an awesome routine.
Members of the district championship volleyball team were introduced, along with members of both the boys’ and girls’ varsity and junior varsity basketball team. Highlighting the event was a “flush the cats” game which involved plungers, a stuffed, cat and a toilet, and senior, Nathaniel Tate was the champion.
As always the pep rally ended with a class competition which was won by the seniors.
