FCA’s Got it in the Bag

George Gannon, Arts and Entertainment Editor

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes made  and delivered gift bags for the residents of McArthur Manor on Feb. 21, and then visited the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission.

The club raised money to purchase 20 bath towels and washcloths and 10 blankets for the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. Also, FCA member Odin Hale donated two blankets bringing the total to 12. While at the mission, students cleaned and organized the area where the homeless stay on cold nights. This experience was very rewarding for the FCA students, advisers, and recipients.

FCA meets on Friday mornings in the theater and is open to everyone!
