Party in the Foreign Language Department

Spanish Club will host a quinceañera on Wednesday, April 4, in Room 7 immediately after school. A quinceañera is a Spanish tradition celebrating when a girl turns 15.

The purpose of Spanish Club is to learn more about Spanish culture, so Mrs. Garcia decided that it would be great to experience a quinceañera first hand. Spanish Club members and teachers are welcome to come and listen to Spanish music, eat cake, take pictures, and enjoy what Mrs. Garcia described as a “mini prom.” Attendees are allowed to dress up, but they don’t have to.

President Savannah Nippers, Vice President Taela Bland, and Secretary Dyllen Robinson have all helped immensely with the planning of this event. Ruby Martinez, Nayeli Ramirez, Sandra Palacios are in charge of the decorations. Specifically, Ruby will be making the cake.

Come be immersed in the wonders of a Spanish birthday party!
