In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, FBLA is once again sponsoring the Pink Out Game and  fundraising for the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition.

This year marks the 8th annual pink out game, and it will be held at the last home football game on October 26 against White County.  The idea originated when business teacher, Mrs. Rita Young  was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2011.

Various projects will be held to raise money.FBLA members will collect donations at the gate of the game to donate to the project. Teachers can participate by donating $5 in order to wear jeans the week of the game. FBLA is currently selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookies for two for $1 per bag and long sleeve breast cancer t-shirts for $15.

All money donated to the Tennessee Breast Cancer coalition goes directly to patients from Coffee County. Anyone interested in purchasing a shirt should see Mrs. Henley.

The following pink out dress up days are:

Mismatch Monday! (Don’t worry about matching after coming back from the weekend!)

Tackle Cancer Tuesday! (Support your favorite football team)

“On Wednesday we wear pink!” (Wear all pink clothes)

Throwback Thursday (Wear your favorite past breast cancer shirt + pay $1 to wear a hat)
