Mobile Pantry Rolls in this Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches, CCCHS begins its annual food drive. Every Thanksgiving the Student Government Association provides students and faculty the chance to donate money to families in need.

This year SGA is partnering with the Family Resource Center and the Second Harvest Food Bank to create a “mobile pantry”. The mobile pantry, a semi-truck with a trailer set up like a grocery store, allows students to get one of each non perishable food item. It does not contain any fresh produce, so members of our school are encouraged to donate money for turkey and ham certificates. All CCCHS clubs and organizations are also welcome to donate. Members of SGA will be collecting these donations during homeroom days until November 8, and the mobile pantry will begin distribution on November 9.

Any and all donations are appreciated, and CCCHS encourages everyone to give back this Thanksgiving season.
