Mrs. Little’s anatomy class makes fake wounds once a year, and this is the sixth year for the project. this is done to help students review the chapter on skin, and it gives them an opportunity to learn basic first aid, estimate burn percentages, and understand the anatomy of burns. The materials used are liquid latex, bathroom tissue, and makeup.Surprisingly, it only takes five to ten minutes to make the fake wounds. Mrs. Little says “Anatomy is a difficult class, and my students work very hard to advance their understanding of the subject. They deserve more opportunities to make class fun and memorable”.
