As Christmas season rolls in, Mrs. Winton’s AP Literature classes are back at it again spreading Christmas cheer! Mrs. Winton’s AP Lit. class has been writing Christmas messages to residents of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities for more than 25 years.

The cards were previously delivered to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities by The Latin Club when they went caroling, but now a local church delivers them instead. In 2017, her class made more than 1000 Christmas cards total.

Students in Mrs. Winton’s AP Lit. class must hand make at least ten Christmas cards to receive extra credit, but anyone wishing to contribute to the spread of Christmas cheer to those in need may give their Christmas cards to Mrs. Winton by December 12!
