Local Scholarships Open to All Seniors

A list of local scholarships has been sent to all seniors through email. Students can begin submitting completed applications on January 25, but no later than February 15. Below are all of the scholarships that have no specific requirements  for which any senior is encouraged to apply regardless of academic history:

 

  • APRIL LINEBERGER MEMORIAL
    • In addition to the resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals, include:
    • *An essay describing how you have benefited mankind, your community, and/or your school.
  • CLASS OF 1977
    • In addition to the resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals, include:
    • *One letter of recommendation from a teacher, community member or employer.
    • *The summary of educational plans & career goals must be handwritten.
  • COFFEE COUNTY SPORTSMEN AND BUSINESSMEN
    • Attach a resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals.
  • MANCHESTER KIWANIS CLUB
    • Attach a resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals.
    • *Students who have been involved in community service and have financial need will receive special consideration.
  • MANCHESTER LION’S CLUB
    • Attach a resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals.
  • ROTARY CLUB
    • In addition to the resume’ and summary of educational plans and career goals, include:
    • *A letter of recommendation from someone who is acquainted with your academic abilities, financial need, and qualifications for this scholarship.
    • *An essay titled, “Service to Others Above Self.”

       Other scholarships will be added as they are announced.
