Inklings Invites Ink-Slinger Jeff Zentner
March 20, 2019
Jeff Zentner will be visiting Coffee County Central High School on March 20, 2019. This meeting will likely take place in Mrs. Winton’s classroom where her Inklings meet every third Wednesday of each month. Mr. Zentner is a four time award winning author and has been named Publishers Weekly Flying Start. He was also nominated for the Carnegie Medal, Indies Choice Awards and the Southern Book Prize. Not only does he write literature, but he is also a singer songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, with five albums produced. He was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and spent two years in the Amazon Region of Brazil where he practiced his Portuguese. Mr. Zentner likes things such as “ high-quality cable television dramas” and “baby elephants.” He also dislikes “wasps” and “fascism, specifically.” If interested in seeing the author of Goodbye Days, Serpent Kings, and most recently Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee, please contact Mrs. Winton at [email protected] or stop by classroom number 21 and sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Duke’s room.
