The class of 2021 gets two proms

The invitation from Morrison Acres to CCCHS seniors excited many.

Aubrie Holder, Sports Editor

Morrison Acres is throwing an additional prom for seniors on May 8. It is for all seniors and a plus one, and it will be held from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. Seniors must RSVP by April 30.

It is located in Morrison and there is free admission, food, snacks, a Dj, and photos.

Besides only being open to CCHS seniors and a plus one, this event is not involved with any part of the school.

For those who have already RSVP’d, the list of rules has been sent out. Here they are:

No large purses or backpacks; only small handbags are allowed, and no outside food and drinks are permitted.

You must make sure you RSVP with your name; if not you won’t be able to enter.

Morrison Acres is a business for families, and they want everyone to have fun and be respectful. They ask for no inappropriate behavior.

Once you go into the prom, you cannot leave and re-enter.

Even though it’s not a school dance dress code still applies.

Last but not least, no tobacco or alcohol is allowed on the premises.

I would recommend going to both proms, enjoy the experience, and have fun! You can wear the same dress, or you can get two different ones. You don’t have to have a date to go to prom. Just go with a group of friends and it will still be fun!
