In-N-Out is expanding to Tennessee
January 17, 2023
In-N-Out has been a Californian fast food staple since its founding in 1948. It was founded in Baldwin Park, California by Harry and Esther Snyder. Since then, there have been 385 locations opened. One of their biggest selling points is their fresh patties. Hence why all In-N-Out locations are located within 300 miles of one of their patty distribution facilities.
Although In-N-Out is known for being Californian, there are locations in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Colorado with plans to expand into Tennessee.
On Jan. 10, 2023 In-N-Out released an official statement announcing plans for its new locations. Lynsi Snyder, In-N-Out owner and president, said in the statement, “Our Customers are our most important asset at In-N-Out, and we very much look forward to serving them in years to come and becoming part of the wonderful communities in the Volunteer State.”
In the statement, Snyder expresses her excitement to bring an eastern territory office as well as In-N-Out locations to Franklin, Tennessee. Franklin is roughly half an hour south of Nashville. Franklin is not the only city receiving locations.
Snyder states, “I have no doubt that my grandparents, dad, and uncle would be proud of this decision to grow our Associate family and serve even more amazing Customers beginning in Nashville and the surrounding areas.”
Although the news of In-N-Out expanding east will excite many, eager burger connoisseurs will have to wait to get a taste. In-N-Out expects to open its first location in Tennessee by 2026. As of Jan 14. 2023, there is still a three year wait.
