The Coffee County Central High school welcomes Maddison Machart.
Machart has joined the wonderful team in the student counseling center of Coffee County Central High School. She may be new in the educational system, but enjoys anything having to do with people. She is eager for her first year at the CCCHS.
Machart is originally from Texas, but graduated from Louisiana State University, LSU. She moved to Nashville to start her life independently, which is said to be one of her best accomplishments.
She received her degree in child field studies. However, for the previous three years of her life, she has worked in senior living care, and has learned a lot. She said, “I’ve always loved working with people and wanted to help in some form or fashion, regardless of what age or the people it involved.”
When asked how she felt about her new job, Machart said “I really had no clue what I was getting into besides information from my education, and I had all the nerves. But the environment is phenomenal, and my colleagues have been the sweetest and most helpful!”
She is thriving at the highschool, and also described her job as, “the best I could imagine because I have a supporting community and am able to work with people 24/7!”
Machart described herself as “friendly, helpful, funny, and creative,” so she not only positively affects and contributes to students and faculty, but is a perfect fit in the SCC. Even though the year is fresh, Machart has already found her groove, and she enjoys her job entirely. She says, “There’s nothing negative about this job, I’m truly happy.”
Machart wanted to give students a piece of advice and inspiration she wished she would’ve had in highschool:
“Remember to not put so much pressure on yourself, high school is a time of growth and change, and you need to trust that whatever is meant to happen will.”
Our high school community is thrilled to welcome and have Machart on the team. She has no doubt she will succeed in her new position.
