Coffee County XC had four runners represent them at the TSSAA State Cross Country Meet. Bailey Kitts, Kailee Rossman, Chloe Hensiek, and Cayden Miller all qualified. Senior Kailee Rossman turned in the best performance placing 98th out of 206 with a time of 20:55.63.
In the professional world of sports, the Atlanta Braves fans are heartbroken at the news of beloved infield coach and third base coach Ron Washington taking the Los Angeles Angels head coaching job. Though he is definitely deserving, the Braves hate to see him go. Washington has previously had a head coaching job with the Texas Rangers, and took them to the World Series. His tenure with the Braves will be remembered, producing some of the best infields in baseball, and winning the 2021 World Series.
