Veteran’s Day is on Nov. 11, regardless of what day it falls on. Veteran’s Day is a very important day to celebrate and honor those who have served for our country.
Veteran’s Day is also known as Armistice Day. It was originally a day to recognize the call for peace by the Germans on “the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.”
We celebrate and honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love for our country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice themselves for the common good.
Community support for veterans is about acknowledging their sacrifices and supporting their journey back to civilian life. Remember to treat your Veterans with respect and honor, and thank them for their service.
