New Computers, New Opportunities

Students taking digital arts and web page design are in for a treat this year since the department received new computers.

According to the teacher, Mrs.Susan Baldwin, these new computers “were necessary in order to take advantage of the advancing requirements of the software taught in my digital arts classes.” These computers are capable of running photo editing software and videos faster than the old ones due to their additional RAM and a solid state drive contained within each.

Mrs Baldwin is thankful to Mr. Richard Skipper for writing the grant that provided funding for the computers because her students have “such a limited amount of time each year to learn,” and with these new faster computers she hopes that her classes can get to work on projects much more quickly. These new computers will enhance the program significantly.
