This year at CCCHS we welcome Michael Sullivan as a new sophomore algebra teacher. He is eager to teach at our school; he says the students are full of life and he enjoys interacting with them on a daily basis.

Mr. Sullivan’s motivation for teaching math is simply to show others that education can be an amazing experience. Most people would think of math as a burden or a hassle, but he hopes to change the way students view it. In addition to teaching algebra, he teaches ACT prep and RTI math.

Prior to becoming a CCCHS staff member, Mr. Sullivan taught at Cane Ridge High School. He decided to come to our school because he wanted to be able to impact students in his home town. Originally intending on becoming a history teacher, he attended Florida International University, Motlow State Community College, Bethel University and Lipscomb University.

Outside of school, Mr. Sullivan loves to read, generally reading about three books a month. He also enjoys fishing and farming with friends and hopes to contribute to the lives of students for years to come. The math department has certainly gained a vital and motivated member.
