Lady Raiders Coffee Cup

The Lady Raiders soccer team fought for a win on August 23, but were defeated by Tullahoma. At the beginning of the game, varsity Lady Raider Brittany Hernandez scored the first goal. They were on a roll with Ellie Graham scoring 2 out of 4 goals. However, Tullahoma was tied with Coffee at 4 to 4. The teams then played into overtime and shot penalty kicks. Tullahoma  won the shootout hitting 3 of 5 goals allowing them to retain the Coffee Cup given to the winner of the rivalry series. The Lady Raiders are now taking a week off before returning to the Raider soccer field on Thursday. Coffee County will play host to Shelbyville in a district match, which will kick off at 7 PM.
