On Wednesday, October 10,  Hurricane Michael tore through the Florida panhandle leaving two confirmed deaths and incredible property damage.

Days before it made landfall the hurricane was reported to be life-threatening. Coastal residents were urged to evacuate as the storm surge threatened lives and property. Hurricane Michael was the first recorded category 4 to sweep through Florida’s panhandle. After leaving devastation in coastal cities such as Panama City, and as pictured in Marianna, Michael then made its way through Georgia, where it was downgraded to a tropical storm that is currently passing over the Carolinas.
