On November 11, at 2:30 p.m. a Veteran’s Day Parade will be held in Winchester. All veterans in Coffee, Moore, Grundy and Franklin counties are able to participate in the parade at 600 Block of College St. (Cowan Highway). All Veterans will be behind a banner that represents the time they were in military. The roads will be closed at 2:10 p.m due to the parade.

Additionally, WWII veterans will be recognized as Grand Marshals of the event. The Red Raider Band will be joined in the parade by FCHS band, Huntland band, and combined bands from North and South Middle Schools in Franklin County. The Tennessee National Guard will be the Honor Guard and have a convoy of various military trucks. Everyone is welcome to support our local heroes and the Red Raider Band.
