The Red Raider football team showed out in the rain against White County on Thursday, October 20. The Raiders fought hard to beat White County with a final score of 20 to 8.This was a very important win due to the fact that it was senior night. “It’s great to go out with a win. The football team is my family and I’m extremely grateful to be able to spend four years with them. It was kind of a bittersweet moment because even though we won, that was my last game as a red raider,” said Senior Andrew Mahaffey. Mahaffey received a 74 yard touchdown pass in the second period. “The touchdown I had came off of a blown play that just happened to work out and I saw a couple of hole in the defense and just ran through them until everyone was behind me,” said Mahaffey. The students and faculty are very proud of our Red Raiders.
