Sponsored by the Lady Raider Softball Team, the  first annual kickball tournament  began Wednesday  at 5:00 p.m.  at the Terry Floyd softball field. In the first game,  a combined team  juniors and seniors won 13-4 against the freshman playing 11 innings.  Seniors and juniors won  the second game 9-3 against the sophomores in 12 innings.   In the third game the sophomores won 5-4 against the freshman. Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. the seniors and juniors defeated the sophomores and remained undefeated in the winners bracket. Thursday night the sophomores won 4-3 against senior and juniors five innings, but the juniors and seniors won the second game 3-2 earning the opportunity to play the faculty. A mostly male faculty team defeated the upperclassmen 8-3. The tournament was a success and should have more participation next year. The softball team appreciates everyone’s support.
