CCCHS senior Abby Morgan signed to play basketball with Cumberland University where she will be majoring in athletic training. She chose this college because she likes the atmosphere, the coaching staff, the players, and it’s close to home.

Abby has  wanted to play college basketball since she was a little girl, and when she tore her ACL, meniscus, and broke her arm causing her to miss part of her junior year, she was motivated to make a full recovery.  Abby says that her parents, teammates, and coaches have helped her achieve her goals.

After obtaining a degree in physical training, she hopes to get accepted into physical therapy school and earn her doctorate degree. She hopes to help other athletes recover from their injuries.

Furthermore, for all of the people who enjoy playing a sport, Abby said, “Cherish each moment; it will be over before you know.” CCCHS will definitely miss Abby Morgan and all the hard work she has accomplished, Cumberland is getting an excellent young lady, scholar, and athlete.
