As one may know, wearing pajama pants at any time during school hours on campus is in violation of the school dress code. Clearly, this dress code is a strictly enforced rule here at CCCHS; to any average student, it may seem impossible to get around this rule to wear your most comfortable lounge pants in your learning environment.
However, fear not, student population. As it would seem, teachers in CCCHS seem to turn a blind eye to most sweatpants, but where is the line between sweatpants and loungewear? Where does one begin and the other end? Most importantly, where is the justice for pj lovers?
As the holiday season is rapidly approaching, winter clothes have been brought out once more, and it is only to make sense for one to want to wear their holiday pajamas.
The freshmen at CCRA have been offered a week of holiday dress up; why then can we at CCCHS not have our own days of, at the very least, holiday socks! We are the upperclassmen, are we not? Where is your holiday spirit, dear student council?
All semester long, we have seen students not be punished for wearing their sweatpants and other loose fitting loungewear. This then raises this question: why the hate against holiday pajamas? The line seems to vary between teachers, but would administrative approval be required simply to show one’s holiday spirit?
The lack of a holiday pajama day is a grossly unfair tragedy here at CCCHS, and justice is nowhere to be seen.
