In the class of 2024 at CCCHS, there are 390 students. Within those 390, there are 42 students in the Top 10 Percent, who are recognized for their diligence and determination throughout their whole high school careers. That said, the Top 10 Percent is determined because of class rank, GPA–or maintaining a GPA of 4.0 through all of highschool–and the obligation of taking an honors class in each core subject.
Coffee County’s Top 10 members of the 2024 class include: Valedictorian Madison Pruitt, salutatorian Riley Phillips, Breyton Anderson, Madilynn Barnes, Owen Baskin, Madalyn Black, Haley Bowen, Kaylyn Brinkley, Gracie Campbell, Brady Daugherty, Anaiah Davenport, Caden Davis, Austin Dockrey, Patience Driggers, Jayden Fellers, Kylee Finchum, Mallory Freeman, Linley Freeze, Melisa Garcia Ayala, Jeffery Hale, Alexia Hasty, Ella Helms, Anthony Herr, Bethany Lambert, Erin Maccagnone, Marissa Medina, Marli Miller, Skylar Morris, Sean Normoyle, Mikayla Patterson, Cooper Reed, Shannon Reed, Clay Ridner, Alexandra Rivas Garcia, Kailee Rossman, Lilyan Saner, Brendon Sheppard, Kyra Sherrill, Hayley Sparkman, Raeleigh Taylor, Marianna Teal, and Kieran Welch.
When Madison Pruitt was asked how she felt about her fellow Top 10 members and class, in whom she leads, she responded with, “I’m extremely honored to be able to represent my class, and I’m so proud of all that we’ve accomplished! The benefits of all our hard work and dedication are finally coming to light.”
Pruitt is a wholesome young woman, and through her hard work and conscientiousness, she achieved the school leadership role of valedictorian for the class of 2024, where no one else would better suit that position.
Phillips represents perseverance and fulfillment through her position as salutatorian. When Riley was asked about how she felt about her peers and achievements she said, “It’s funny how one day we’re entering freshman year, and four quick years later we are all graduating alongside each other with great achievement. I am immensely happy to accept this honor in representing my class.”
Riley is a very determined and devoted individual, who has great success now as well as in the future, and she has the utmost respect for herself and others.
While the class of 2024 is full of honorable students, the Top 10 percent have worked incredibly hard. Both Pruitt and Phillips are an amazing representation of the work their peers have been putting in for the past four years.
